It seems like they're probably going to merge Kick-Ass 2 with the "interquel" Hit-Girl mini. I think they'll do that because Kick-Ass 2 is a very Dave-heavy story, with Mindy only really showing up towards the tail end.

Who's to say that they didn't try steam power in the 15 years that it took to get to where we begin the story? Could we get steam, yes, but could we do anything outside of harnessing it for power? Probably not, so they gave up on that notion.

I was hoping the brother would die and the father lived. We didn't get enough Tim Guinee. Kind of a shame to waste him like that, as he's a great genre actor.

Yeah, and if the big bad of the season of SPN was electricity based, the title card would have been like Revolution's.

Well, NBC also did this, but broadcast actually, two of the new comedy pilots during the Olympics. But I think that was when they had 20 minutes or so to kill between time delays. I'll bet if they had a window big enough they probably would have shown this or another "hour"-long pilot.
