"She also confirms that Luke Cage, who is the husband of Jessica Jones in the comic, will indeed appear in the show, though she didn't confirm that relationship will carry over exactly."

Good to know. I'm on that next once I catch up on the main book. Or should I start after a particular issue?

Yeah, it's called Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker.

I actually thought that The Boys trade was out in December. I've been...ummm...acquiring the single issues through other means while trade-waiting. Maybe the Butcher mini will be the collected volume in December then?

I hope it doesn't. Joe Mad was really excited about this when he hinted at it at the Wizard Con in Austin last year. He said he's been wanting to do a Spidey book for the longest time, and now's his chance.

Agreed.

I was so waiting for Dean to either use an "evil us-es" line or a "non, non, non, non-heinous."

That was bugging me, too. I was thinking most of the time that Jody was a Leviathan. But I don't think she had gloves on. Besides, why would she reveal their (seemingly) only weakness? Seems like if she was a Leviathan clone, she'd have killed Bobby straightaway and then rescued Cheese Boy.

If Doctor Who has shown us anything, it's pretty damn easy nowadays to remove an appendage with minimal CG.

Who is Cato? Looks like the kid playing Geoffrey from Game of Thrones.

Six seasons and a movie!

I almost didn't click on this headline because of the Gossip Girl reference, but it was Misfits, so I did it anyway. Couldn't you have lead the headline with "Chuck co-creator" instead? Probably would get a lot more hits.

Advertising dollars = money from commercials. See, advertisers pay Fox money to air their commercials. More advertisers buy commercial time from Fox during major sporting events and crap like American Idol and X-Factor. Are you really that dense?

Obviously, you're not. Though I may have replied to your comment, I wasn't singling you out particularly. I was making a broad generalization of the type of people commenting on this particular thread in the comments. The ones who feel victimized by pre-emption due to huge sporting events, when that's what is most of

You just make the stereotype of "introverted nerd who doesn't get out and is completely out of shape because all they do is watch TV and bitch on teh interwebs about stuff you have no control over" stronger. I own up to my laziness most of the time, and I was in a car wreck that keeps me from being as active as I'd

Well, complain to Fox, then. They pay big money for the rights to air the World Series and playoff games. It gets ratings and advertiser dollars. The same money that goes to the producers of the shows we love and want to see on the air forever. And leads into those same programs to get them better ratings.

It's the World Series. It's potentially 7 games. When it's through, that's it for baseball until next spring. So quit your bitching.

Yeah, Jack Kenny (exec. producer) said as much at SDCC in the WH13 panel. J.P. is a writing assistant on the show, which is why it's kind of a big deal, I think. Maybe this will get him promoted to regular writer if it's a success. Kenny said as much in the panel.

As a huge Cardinals fan, I'm okay with Fringe being a repeat.

Kind of excited for WH13's special, because J.P. Nickel wrote it (if anyone here watches SMBC Theater, you know who that is).
