Has replay made watching any sports more enjoyable for anyone? It sure hasn’t stopped the twats who love to complain about any call that doesn’t go their way. If anything it’s made them louder. For those of us who are content with the fact that nothing is ever perfect so quit worrying about it, it has made watching

I know this isn’t a 1-to-1 comparison, but the “ignore the trolls” advice is exactly how shit like Gamergate happens. Calling out and deplatforming people who are toxic is how you beat them.

why is that asshat even on TV?

So if the score doesn’t matter at all, then at what point do the celebrations become extreme and dumb? 2-0? 5-0? 7-0? 12-0? Was it just Rapinoe? What about rookie’s first goals in a blow out?

Blue pens show coded support for police violence - you’re literally drawing a thin blue line every time you use one.

And what’s the arbitrary amount of goals that occurs? And does that mean that the girls scoring their first goal on the world stage need to do so quietly, from the bad luck of their goal being higher than this number?

1) I have.

I’m gonna clue you in on something: nobody cares about this either. Nobody’s going to remember the celebrations, it’s just people who who are desperate for validation. 99.99% of these people don’t even know women’s soccer exists if the year ends in an odd number.

And it doesn’t sound like *he* expects special adulation for being mindful of others, so there’s something that comes off as mean-spirited in that suggestion.

“I think, as a Canadian, we would just never ever think about doing something like that

“I think, as a Canadian, we would just never ever think about doing something like that,”

Even Thailand’s Nild said that the USWNT weren’t being unsportsmanlike, but whatever you want to think I guess. These players train for years to get to this stage, and they shouldn’t have to tone down their excitement regardless of the score.

Abby says men don’t get told to not celebrate after scoring. She’s clearly never heard of The Cardinal Way.

USWNT better watch out the next time they have to face Madison Bumgarner.

I’m not going to take sportsmanship lessons from Canada after Game five when Raptor’s fans were cheering KD’s injury. No, they lost their right to critique anyone on sportsmanship that night.

“The US continuing to score goals was uncalled for. They were just humiliating poor Thailand.”

Driving through a lot of small towns I think my favorite thing is probably:

I accidentally used salt once.  Don’t use salt.

I once added a cup of confectioners sugar instead of regular table sugar. It did not go well at all.

As a kid I once threw out two whole batches of vile-tasting Kool-Aid before I realized I’d forgotten to add sugar.
