“I won’t vote if my preferred candidate doesn’t get the nomination, and somehow the government will know I am unhappy, and will respond by fixing things” = motherfucking magical thinking.

I’m pretty sure I convinced my friend yesterday to switch his view from #Bernieorbust to voting for whoever the Democratic nominee is. I used the argument “I like my reproductive rights, even if you don’t like Hillary.” It worked.

Exactly. This is one of the reasons why the Bernie-or-Bust movement fills me with so much rage (or any other similar movement, but honestly I haven’t seen a similar hashtag thrown around as often from Hillary’s camp).

THIS. We are seeing the devastating results of low voter-turnout right here. People need to vote, not only this November, but EVERY TIME there’s an election. If we don’t vote, then the aging, paranoid, Fox News-Watching folks will continue to have their way.

Let’s all try to remember to vote Democrat...and keep fighting for women’s healthcare issues, including abortion rights.

Near unwatchable

To be fair, yeah - just the thought of that alone gives me chills.

This is what has happened in the books as well- but I think there’s a wider purpose. Martin has said that he always intended to reunite characters after drawing them apart to allow them to grow individually.

The thing that gets me is, how is that safe? When have we ever had a non-“ethnic” male as the VP? Like...?

This is relevant.

I agree that Bernie would be a good choice for VP for the reasons you gave, but I think he burned that bridge a while ago. The problem is that he relied on tarnishing HRC’s character in order to mount his own campaign. It’s one thing to express disagreement with an opponent’s policy proposals/past senate votes and

Thank you for your sexism. I’ve now had my quota for the day, and it’s not quite lunch!

She should not consider anyone in the Senate. We need each democratic senator we have in there to stick around and hold the ground we have. Isn’t there a good natured Governor from somewhere who she can ask?

Has there been a guy who’s had a more quiet hall of fame career as Adrian Beltre? Seriously, everyone talks about how Chipper Jones is this sure fire first ballot guy (which I don’t disagree with) yet I feel fairly confident that Beltre won’t get in on the first year, despite having an equally productive career. The

Anytime someone talks about revolution, I can’t help but roll my eyes.

It is the support of Sanders. It is Sarandon’s other statements that make her look bad. Hillary is not a Republican. To make that false claim is ridiculous.

She’s so full of shit. People “shamed” i.e. criticized specific comments she made not her overall support of Sanders.

It’s not her support of Bernie Sanders that makes me question her feminism, but the fact that she chooses to define Clinton by her relationship to her father and her husband, rather than any actual merits or her own accomplishments.

Is the source of your information your asshole because what you’re saying is bullshit?

this take is fire (and blood)
