EVEN Sabrina? Show Mr. Wilder some respect!

For Satan's sake, neglect not Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. A National Acrobat, man.

The matter-of-fact, almost kindergarten-teacher-esque way she delivered the "sun eggs" line was priceless.

I believe that Tarantino quote about preserving the mystery actually came from a David Carradine interview on this very site.

…same key…

Holy shit, I just paused "Twilight Zone" off of Killers to listen to that Enforcer track, and it is… uncanny. Same tom-heavy drum fills, same punky high-pitched vocals, same swung rhythm, same drop to the 6th with vocal harmonies coming in on the chorus, almost the same melody on the verses… that was weird.

I think Travolta is stellar in Blow Out. His mix of decency and moral exhaustion is pretty indelible. It's a very adult characterization, in a way you don't really see often in movies (then or now). Pauline Kael compared him to a young Brando in her review.

Also, the funniest comedies (Spinal Tap, Office Space, The Big Lebowski) often get funnier with multiple viewings.

I mean, this could be from the next Apatow picture:

Truth Hits Everybody!

Laughing.

Jawdropping SNL performance of this staggeringly underrated track:

Joy In Repetition! Yes! One of the most incredible songs Prince ever wrote. His most beautiful lyrics.

"I'm no Vito Corleone."

Saw the D movie at a critics' screening, so while I wasn't alone physically, I was completely alone spiritually. I was laughing hysterically the entire time, in a COMPLETELY SILENT room. I mean I was laughing so hard, I was also turning bright red with embarrassment. I must be the only person who really loves this

"unexpected revelation"
c'mon, that's redundant.

"…but it's not exactly Plan A."

"He was a poofter!" "You can't talk like that!" "He was a Nazi! He was a Nazi man! Oh, danger!"

Hard to argue with Old Gregg and the Crack Fox, even if you think the former is played out.
