I always tell people Mass Effect: Andromeda’s only real problem is that it’s a great 30 hour game that takes 80 hours to play.

The books put far more focus into the politics of the universe and background information into what was going on than any of the monster hunts.

There’s mainly the books to blame for this, which were, save for some of the short-stories, way more politics-focused than the games.
