Ugh, another Deadspin commentator trying to deep-dive analyze like he actually played the game or something.

I’m gonna steal this and casually drop it into the conversation after the next missed FG I see. Score some of those sweet esoteric kicking analysis points. Take that, Dad!
You do realize he took a single game a year ago with Kyrie and Love, right?
Without being on the field and talking to him, no one knows if he was aiming for the upright or not.
I like it. Counterpoint, however: Lebron has played five million minutes over the last two years...
First off, go fuck yourself.
It’s not a terrible second unit individually because each of them has discrete skills/roles. It’s just that other than TTT, none of them can play any defense, which is the Cavs’ biggest problem and which they were unable to solve over the summer other than the addition of Crowder.
The Warriors didn’t have Kevin Durant back then.
It leads to open outside shots and Steph Curry hitting threes at a rate greater than 67%?
Yup. Say what you will about the Red Sox, but when a broken bat flew into the stands at Fenway in 2014, the Sox expanded the netting down the lines that week.
We went to a minor league game this summer and sat down low on the first base line. I spent the entire time with my glove on and worrying about the ball hitting my five year old. We only made it an inning and a half - I made the entire group move (and everyone had kids!) because I was such a nervous wreck.
Jesus Christ. I have a kid about that age and all Summer I kept thinking “Is she old enough to take her to the ballpark?” We didn’t end up going, but I think I’m gonna wait a bit longer.
Thank goodness there are still men like you willing to lecture professional athletes about the right way to be professional athletes. Being the assistant to the regional manager isn’t the same as working with psychotically competitive football players.
“Lonzo, feel free to start the tinkering at any time”
And this is why all the owners locked arms last week. Had nothing to do w/ the anthem, the players, Trump, or protests. Had everything to do with trying to appease the sponsors.
Yeah jeez, giving up watching a sport that I loved and followed obsessively because of my conscience, a true sign of weakness.
It’s almost as if football can’t be made safe...
20 years ago, this would probably have been featured on ESPN’s “Jacked up” and I would have cheered it as a cool moment. Now I’m just glad he got up, and hope he doesn’t have brain damage.
Not sure about the goalie there. He may have given up on it, but with the pace of the strike and its angle of spin (moving up and over and then down and away from the goalie)...that’s an extremely difficult spot to jump up to it. Specifically the height of the ball as it passes the goalie’s lateral position. Maybe he…
New hubby needs to demonstrate that he understands his role here and have a talk with his parents about being nicer to his wife.
