Granted I’m a Warriors fan. I grew up in the Bay Area. I put up with years of shitty Warriors, saw a glimmer of hope in 2007, and then further years of shit before 2015.

For the record, I’ve loved Chris Paul since he entered the league. I mean, the dude’s a dick, but he’s one of the best 2 or 3 PGs of all time.
Anderson has been awful since his return, he can’t even crack the rotation anymore. He won’t be able to stay on the court with the Warriors because he’s so easy to attack on defense. Which is problematic because his deep range bombing is a big reason why their spacing works.
He did play like this all the time as a Clippers. Doc Rivers just couldn’t put a good team around Paul and Griffin. And also never figured out that staggering his stars was the best way to utilize them.
Trying to win in 4-5 years, and not breaking up the team are contradictory things. They’re in win now mode. Lowry is well on the downside of his career. DeRozan will never be a number one option on a championship contender. Serge Ibaka is butt. The combination of those 3 players mean they have no cap flexibility, but…
Is his consistency why he was complete ass for years before this one? Remember when he was exiled from the Mavs in the middle of the playoffs?
Jordan did not play against harder defensive rules. Yeah, you could hand check in Jordan’s day, but there was also illegal defense. No zone, no big man just sitting in the paint, no ignoring the opposing team’s shittiest shooter. Double teams could only come if the player had the ball. Today’s defenses are so much…
You’re right bro. Totally freak accident. He basically concussed himself and broke his own jaw. No way a direct result of Wilson’s unsafe and illegal actions.
I have a friend who made a living off poker for years. I asked him how he did it. His response, “play the odds”. That’s it.
Part of the Raptors implosion, they finished the game primarily having Siakam on Lebron. Why would you do that?! Anunoby defended Lebron better than nearly anyone most of the game and then they replaced him.
26 points on 30 shots is not respectable. On the Lebron James spectrum, that was a bad game.
I did watch the entire games. The Warriors were the more aggressive team, the Pels resorted to floaters, and the Warriors were very disciplined defensively. The FT disparity looks galling on paper, but in the game, the Pels just weren’t getting fouled.
No. The fact that you think a single game’s +/- qualifies as “analytics” is why you’re bothered by analytics.
Is this Steven A. Smith’s fall into senility happening before our eyes?
Wiggins has been in the league long enough to prove that he’ll never be a very effective player.
Yes I agree awesome.
He’s inherently their enemy in that he works for the league owners and promotes an agenda that gives as little power and money to the players as possible.
At least retired football players have the excuse of CTE.
The NBA actually has 2-minute reports, but for the entire game, every single game. They use it to rank and train refs. They publicly released 2-minute reports are all about transparency. And studies of the 2-minute reports show that refs actually do a pretty good job considering the difficulty of their job.
I’ll say it. Lebron is better than Jordan. He’s dragged terrible Cavs teams deep into the playoffs repeatedly. Teams that just cannot win without him. When Jordan left the Bulls to play baseball, they still made the playoffs.
