You’d better call that Mini “Slammer” because it sure flipped that POG!

*ragrets

it’s good to know that weirdos are still out there doing creative and head-scratching gearhead shit instead of just shoving an LS into whatever they bought.

If I accidentally struck a pedestrian by driving on the wrong side of the road in a foreign country, I wouldn’t run. I would seek immediate medical attention for the victim, but I would sure as shit claim immunity if it was available to me.

Yep even I was like , this is click baity

Exactly.

Seconded the chemtrail eye roll. Please get that shitty headline changed. It’s airplane emissions, not chemtrails.

Chemtrails, 25 year old secret immunity deals, self driving tech, government raids, China’s soft-power neocolonial bankrupting of Africa.

You have a Ram ProMaster van with a self-driving system that doesn’t exist in our reality yet. What are you going to do with it?

Honestly, this would be MUCH more CP in 1985 than today.

Take it off. You know they’re removable, right? There’s no reason to be dragging a tent around for the other 360 days of the year, except as a sacrificial offering to the fuel gods.

Every single vehicle in Queensland* has an roof-rack. Hiluxes, Landcruisers, Carnivals, Fits, Mustangs, everything. Fold out canopies and tents sit on most of those racks, along with recovery gear and extra canisters. They sell like crazy here.

I also got pretty excited about this. It’s what I’ve been waiting for in a rack.

Why the F would anyone buy a gasoline engine vehicle when natural gas is cleaner?

Then it sounds like there is already a law in place to deal with it.  So, let’s deal with it.  But don’t take away a useful tool simply because it is being abused.  Stop the abuse.

“... and for hassling minorities.”

Try reading a license plate just by looking at it. Even in daylight at speed its hard. You owe money or are uninsured pay up deadbeat

Fuck that, in an urban area you’d be lucky if you were able to visually identify 10% of license plates as they passed by. DO you want to get into an accident with someone who has no insurance? Cause I sure as hell don’t.

Personally, I like that police can quickly identify stolen and uninsured vehicles. I’d like it more if they actually acted on those finds though, I get the sense that they are largely ignored.

i prescription ray bans stolen out of my car, I hope the thief got a really bad headache
