Travis was Poochy?!
Travis was Poochy?!
I’ll be honest, I didn’t even bother reading the article before voting. $17k for an ‘02 Lexus does not a good deal make.
One might say..that car...is a bit... rich.
Looks like a gray, Rubbermaid 50 gallon trash can. More than likely, on a swivel roller wheel base as well. Pretty handy to have to clean up messes. We have about 6 in our production/warehouse area.
Seen far worse example sell for far more money.
I once posted a fairly modified Jeep CJ-7 on eBay. The eventual winning bidder was from Boston (I was in NJ) and he contacted me several times by email. I gave him my phone number and spent maybe two hours with him discussing the condition of the Jeep, the work done to it, taking additional pictures, really trying to…
I will relay a story told to me by my boss.
The new Jurassic Park really went low-budget this time around
Tiff Needell says it best: “It’s the best of both worlds.”
Darth Maul, your car is ready.
As I have a deposit on one, I’m really, really looking forward to this.
the engine needed an idler pulley on the back side of the timing belt, but the block didn’t have provisions for it and they apparently didn’t want to change it, so they cranked the timing belt tension up to try and compensate. 30k miles was about the life of the belt. Yay non-interference engines!
Not sure if its one victory disqualifies it, but what about the Mazda 787B?
Mercedes CLK LM
the pinnacle was the ‘92-’93 IROC R/T which had the same 2.2 Turbo III (224 hp) as the Spirit R/T. That car was a legitimate performance bargain, if you could look past the Turbo III’s appetite for timing belts and head gaskets.
Yes and no.... the “IROC” came with a 2·2 turboIV or the 3.0 v6. The “IROC R/T” came with the lotus head 2.2 and Getrag 5speed plus 4 wheel anti lock disk brakes. Lotus wasn’t rushed some bean counter at chrysler decided on steel plugs in an aluminum head..... what a moron. Put in the aluminium plugs and they don’t…
Are you kidding me? Egoista did not make the list? What is more pompous than saying “I’m an egotist. Nobody else is good enough to ride with me in this obnoxious Italian road-going spacecraft”?
“Smart” cars literally only exist because BMW acquired mini. Or the other way around. Either way, I have no idea how one could make a car that is both ridiculously small, RWD, Not fun to drive at all, heinously underpowered, and terrible on fuel efficiency, all at the same time. And then call it “smart” of all things.…
You’d be surprised how often people confuse “free” and “included in the price”. Buy one, get one free. Not really. Free maintenance on my BMW for 4 years. Think again.
Yeah, you absolutely pay extra for seatbelts, just nobody has the option to not pay extra.
