Alright guys, I know many of us have been thinking it, who has some advice as far as reliability goes? How many miles is too many for the old diesel gals? What years are better than others?
I’ve been rescuing my tiny cars with my 2015 Mazda 3 with the small 2.0L and 6 MT that I added a trailer hitch to. I decided it was time to upgrade my DD and tow ring to something with a little more oomph and pulling capability. I found a smoking deal on a 2014 CX5 Touring with AWD and the 2.5L.
I know it is a week late or so, but I procrastinated. Made this today.
This article popped up today:
Yesterday it was clear and snow free outside these windows.
Picked these up for the AZ-1. 90s intensify! They are the perfect specs for these, 13" x 5.5" 38mm offset, 4 x 114.3mm bolt pattern. This is going to be a good winter season of repairs/aesthetic upgrades. Can’t wait until May to drive it again!
This is how you install a universal hitch right?
I’m heading to Deals Gap this weekend with some friends to finally hit up the tail of the dragon with the Autozam. There’s also a Ford Festiva gathering in Raleigh that I’ll be attending with it too. Lots of old friends from my Festiva/Aspire enthusiast days will be there.
Did everyone remember to wake up Green Day this morning?
I just bought a brand new set of new old stock wheels for my tiny car swap project. I can’t for the life of me figure out what they are. I do know they are 4x100 and the date code on the box says they are older than me by 5 months. 5 internets to whomever can ID them!
Obscure cars group on bookface had some good kinja.
The day finally came, I’m “In the 30s” now. I didn’t count 30. Hopefully this means even cheaper car insurance and the like. Anyway, feel free to post cool Mazdas if you’d like!
I know $kaycog retired from the COTD rewards, but does this mean we are done with that all together? I noticed it hasn’t been on the front page the past few days.
I gave it a good run, made it 7.5 months into my new years’ resolution to not buy any cars this year. Then a 91 NA with no rust popped up. Partially disassembled comes with blown 1.8L and a complete, ready to install 1.8L VVT engine, coilovers, and “a truckload” of parts. It was an automatic that was swapped to a 5…
I spotted one on the side of the road for sale. It appears to be in good shape, black with no interior tears, no rust, wheels in good shape. Anyone know what to look for problems wise? I’m calling about it today, no price listed unfortunately.
That front page article really got me. I saw plenty of KODO Mazda 2 when I was in Iceland recently and fell in love. Anyone else been browsing PR dealer sites?
I stumbled upon this on facebook, Long Voyager needs this!
Yesterday was my first cars and coffee experience. I drove the Autozam and it did not disappoint. The shear volume of cars and people talking about cars was overwhelming. I only had time to take one picture before I left:
