Against my better judgment and that of others, I decided to embark on driving my Autozam AZ-1 home from Oregon to Buffalo. Any fellow Oppos along the way that might want to check it out? My general route is pictured below:
This popped up on facebook’s obscure cars for sale page
My AZ-1 just got picked up from port in Tacoma. It made the 2.5 hour trip to my buddy’s place without issue. Here is where the slightly crazy part comes in, I’m considering driving it home from Oregon to Western NY. I’m way overdue for a vacation, and what better way to spend a vacation than driving 2700 miles in a…
I know resolutions tend to be BS and this time of year we are flush with them. I’m curious what people are trying for this year. Mine are reasonable, but also challenging.
My rental car has lousy tires and we just got a ton of snow. I can’t make it up small hills with the current traction control setup. Anyone know how to shut it off so I can make it up small knolls?
Some of the guys we work with on our engine dampers really know how to push the limits of power:
It’s pretty affordable too. I’m curious to see how it compares to the $18,277 that Autozam AZ-1 sold for.
This popped up on the local Facebook for sale group. I went to look at it because I was bored and had been considering a 4 cyl 5 speed truck. It was so clean I ended up buying it. It’s southern so no rot anywhere. The hood scoop is pretty bad, but whatever there. Seat is worn out so I may put a set of miata seats in…
I have an 89 Suzuki Intruder 750cc that I’ve been trying to flip. But no one seems to be interested in it, so I’m taking my safety course to get my license and riding it for a bit. I’d like to get a decent riding jacket so I’m protected. I’m usually overly warm when I do anything so preferably well vented. Anyone…
We got hit by a small wind storm and a huge branch barely missed my Mazda 3, my new to me riding mower, my garage, and my buddy’s 93 Lebaron (anyone want this thing cheap?). So I decided this weekend was time to start limbing anything that looked questionable. Turns out it was a ton of limbs, enough that I wouldn’t…
I installed a Robbins NB glass window soft top on my dad’s 95 miata. It was from my parts car that must have had an NB frame on it. I don’t have the window support straps you are supposed to use, or the elastic ones that help move the floating rib.
Found this on the internets:
The thing looks shockingly un-modified except for the aftermarket wheels and radio. Even has the stock air box and the type L sub woofer. I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited for January to come.
After 10+ years of pining and waiting for them to become legal, I won this at auction over the weekend! Can’t wait until January when I can bring it over.
Listed my 91 Miata SE on craigslist in effort to secure funds for the Autozam. Any oppos interested in a rust free NA? I’ll give the oppo discount like I did on my FB RX7.
I decided it was time to clean my garage some, and flip around the project so that it is facing the right way to get going on the 13B installation and also be easy to back out for welding and body panel skin modifications.
Good Morning Oppo! Clean SE for your time!
The QC guy printed this for me when I first got my RX7.
I sold the FB to a commenter on here, made him wait long enough so I could get it in good working order. My intention was to be thinning the herd of cars and projects. The plan was to get a ride home from my dad after the sale. Then this happened:
