Glitter lube! It's a thing!

“Rep. Marsha Blackburn and Rep. Kevin McCarthy both received one vote.”

this.

How is that any different from the colleges continuing to do a poor job, at best, of prosecuting rapists?

It’s a terrible bill.

Yea this is a good thing. I love my sorority and I’ve significantly benefitted from by membership but fuck the everliving shit out of this bill and the assholes who came up with it.

My great grandmother was a witch on my father’s side.

The bill goes beyond disciplinary proceedings for individuals.

The way I see it: Schools have been doing a poor job investigating and punishing rapists, but the thing is that the police are often just as bad. Victims of sexual assault are treated poorly by the system. Making reporting to the cops mandatory before anything else can happen just creates another barrier for victims,

Oh I completely agree. The status quo has failed. The only bright side is a big push to reform college campuses and their handling of rape allegations. Some are actually making progress. I'd like that to continue. The safe campus act, only makes campus safer for rapists.

I found out last week that I am pregnant after my partner and I spent close to a year trying to conceive. I am overjoyed, elated, excited yada yada, but TBH I already hate being pregnant. I’m hoping much of this will pass once I get to the second trimester, but I feel terrible 100% of the time.

PRECISELY what I came to say. I’ve heard stories of them suing elementary schools over hanging Disney decorations.

He’s dating an African-American woman but, ‘she’s one of the good ones’

The light! It’s so strange and beautiful!!

A little less gruesome than my neighbours. I enjoy how they went to the trouble of selecting a nice stain for their guillotine.

I wouldn’t want to live near them, but this is cool as shit.

How much do their neighbors hate them?

It seems as though the Safe Campus Act is sort of like the Patriot Act in that the people pushing it really hope that lawmakers will make positive assumptions based on the name without actually reading or understanding it. It’s about stopping schools from punishing rapists, so opposition to it is a good thing!

It’s Rachel Dolezal right?
