You’re missing the point: The real-life impact doesn’t matter for trolling. Sometimes, it’s a bonus. And sometimes, ruining someone’s life is part of the goal of trolling. Trolling is a method of getting laughs when you honestly don’t care if other people get hurt because of what you say.
