I didn’t state that genetic viability wasn’t an issue; I stated it’s not an issue because of age. The issues men have with sperm, and the genetic viability problems, are completely unrelated to the age of the sperm themselves.

Believe it or not, but the MRA/PUA/asshole brigade are basing that on a series of studies that linked the chances of mental disability and birth defects to the age of the mother. So, they actually do have a science basis for their stance.

That’s because male reproduction does not work that way. Women produce all of their eggs at once, while men are constantly producing and disposing of sperm. As such, for men the age of sperm isn’t a factor because sperm are almost never old enough for genetic viability to be an issue.
