Had a startling (but minor) setback on the multimeter while trying to test high-amperage AC current:

I assumed it was just oddly phrased/translated— if the sentence read “... baby pandas basically only nurse, sleep, and poo...” it’d be much clearer.

Aside: the local public radio station is playing Wagner’s Ring Cycle this month and tonight is Die Walküre. That panda video is absolutely fucking hilarious backed by “Ride of the Valkyries”!

Finished the next stage of the multimeter, but am not sure how to safely test it: it’s measuring AC voltage/amperage but most power sources (wall-warts, batteries) are DC. I suppose I could just go at it straight from a wall outlet but I’m a little uneasy about that...
