Another savage takedown was done by the British TV show That Was the Week that Was, here. (WARNING: NSFW due to use of N-word and blackface in the service of satire)

Nice!

Those all sound pretty awesome to me. Post some pictures!

Finishing up adding magnetic closures to the box (the test box looks a little more ragged now, but that was its purpose). Also ended up with a little stylized blank ceramic skull that has possibilities.

Hey now, that’s unfair to jug-blowers.

No. She lacks the depth, the charm, and the warmth.

Well, an actual obit would be even more welcome. For now, though, I’ll probably have this stuck in my head for the next couple of days:

Huh, so you can’t edit a post after it’s submitted. Anyway, I went ahead and put up some box photos here.

Did some modifying to a box I got for free at a bookstore (it held postcards which they opted to sell individually) so that small magnets would hold the lid closed. I’ll get pictures for that up later, maybe after dinner.

Did you see the felted whale I did for my dad?

I’m sorry about your rabbit... and wondering if your daughter’s friend is named Lennie.

Reese’s are okay, but Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups... those are fucking addictive.

Back from a nap (the adrenaline from today’s fun event wore off, after all). Don’t see a craft thread-- hope Pie-Pie’s okay! In the meantime I’ll show off the little goofy needle-felted whale I made for my dad; I’d started it last week and finished it and put it in the mail Friday:

I wiped out on the freeway today! Was moving from the fast lane to the 2nd-from-left lane, saw (or thought I saw) someone in my blind spot, oversteered, overcorrected, braked... and pulled a beautiful bootlegger reverse into the center divider.

There are Asian stereotypes about cheapness? (I always heard ones about Jews and Scots.)
