I think it’s pretty clear that I’m talking about loading times that interrupt the gameplay in some way. In NMS, from what I’ve played so far, everything is seamless. As planets and space stations render, you’re still in control, so you never get that little burst of minor irritation that comes from opening a door or

Based on the pre-patch version: Yep, really stable. I haven’t run into any framerate issues, and it seems to my untrained eye like it’s running at 60fps. And there are no loading times, which is remarkable. Tons of pop-in, but I don’t mind that.

you forgot to mention the fact that the next update will contain base building and owning large freighters

Just when I thought I couldn’t be stunned by random cat videos anymore.....

That kitty has seen too much MMA

Easy:

Man that is disappointing to hear. I have been looking forward to having a Berserk anime to watch since I think a lot of the ridiculous violence of the manga would be great to see on the screen.

Stealth takedown video.

I didn’t realize it until just now, but I really, REALLY need a dystopian cat game. Like.... BADLY!

Hardest part is that most of sci-fi inevitably has guns as the main source of combat.

With how busy I’ve been, I really haven’t had much time to feel hollow, so to speak.

‘With how busy I’ve been, I really haven’t had much time to feel hollow, so to speak.’

I’d love to see them apply the Souls/Bloodborne “template” (such as it is) to a sci-fi story. I’d love that so hard.

Yeah I remember that scene in Berserk with the onion shaped knight and the scaleless dragon. Not to mention the crowns and the hollows and the time travel. I honestly don’t know how anyone makes any games what with Berserk holding the copyrights to all fantasy.

Around e3 someone interviewed him and he said they are working on a number of things. One is a revival of an old IP so possibly armored core and another he said is a third person RPG so maybe Bloodborne 2 or another IP but still similar in nature.

Great interview Patrick.

As everybody knows once you put something on the internet it becomes public domain- and don’t go changing your URL’s or I will sue as I use those links in my business

I mean, we’re not talking about creating characters and then gender-swapping them. We’re talking about a preproduction process where the writers might say something like “alright, and then Nate and Sam go into this old man’s house” and then someone says “what if it’s a woman?” and everyone’s like “hey yeah.” Maybe

Diversity is a good thing. Looking at every character and seeing if they should be female seems complete crazy to me. It’s rare that the gender matters at all in games (I mean storywise, not representation),so how do you have that conversation?
