They’re only the developers though. Can they be blamed for things like this?

I thought it was Bandai Namco that screwed up, but CD Projekt Red? Red is only the developer, not the translator.

Dammit Namco!

I’ve enjoyed Bryan Lee O’Malley’s work so far. He seems to be a great guy to boot, which is nice.

Yes, but this was a few seconds of us looking at a monster. There isn’t too much we can actually tell about the game than that, other than whether or not the design of the monster fits Doom. I like to think that it does.

Hope it get the money needed. Again. But this time without the asshole.

How coud you tell anything from that though? Also, if you didn’t know, there are a few detail on the game that have already been talked about. Those who have seen the game at QuakeCon described it for everyone who didn’t see it. Try looking it up.

It’s running on iD engine 6. Also, plenty of details on the showing of the game at QuakeCon have already been given to us. They seem to have found good ways to make the game new yet still Doom.

Not that much really. Rage was more post-apocalypse, while this is more modern military shooter (for the most part).

I have nothing against the idea of redoing Doom in a new way that’s actually an interesting twist while keeping the charm of Doom, but this doesn’t seem to be one of those “twists.” It looked like iD trying to do something new with the IP by making it like every other shooter IP.

Fair enough.

It’s a revenant with fucking machine guns (or something) on its back. It looks like Doom to me.

It’s an announcement to the annoucement.

This is not Doom 3. This new Doom was showed off at Quakecon already. It was apparently bloody amazing (and I say that literally).

It’s already been confirmed that it will be called Doom. Last year no less.

Guys, we already know that the game will be good. Remember the first time they showed off the gameplay to everyone who was there live? Everyone who did see it described it as being fucking awesome. Just look up what they said.

That’s not the point of this article. And anything that gets a *lot* harder than Dark Souls might be too hard, in an unfun kind of way. Like playing Contra without the Konami code.

Keep in mind that we’re talking about the games industry Actually, the issues described here can apply to the techindustry as a whole.

Being able and willing to do things like this for important reasons always seems to me like the most badass thing a person can do.

Pre-loading is on the PS4 though.
