I watched a 70 minute play through of the single player a few nights ago and I agree with all the points on here. The game sound amazing and look great. Yes, the basic mechanics is still shoot everything in sight, but the action seemed exciting enough for me to sit there and watch it for an hour and 10 minutes.

My problem with this app and "distraction free writing" apps in general is that most times when I write, I need to switch between many sources and references. And if I'm doing that, it not only defeat the purpose of this interface but becomes a hindrance.

@jakesbrain: I would have a bit more faith in Valve than that. I totally agree the game WOULD be ruined if that were to happen.

So...if you are worried about cost. Astraweb have a pay-as-you-go option. I buy 150GB for $25 and it last me and mine for quite a while. Speed is crazy fast and no worry about seeding.
