Counterpoint: our growing addiction Amazon Prime-type levels of service.

They can if they plan on selling it for another 12 years.

Something something driver’s front 1.5 psi low, yaddah yaddah “why did you turn?!”...

“Recalculating. Please turn left onto Washington Blvd.”

I might actually favor Forza, in terms of lower likelihood of AI failure? They’ve been doing it longer, there’s a decent chance they’re a bigger team, and they have full access to the physics engine and game data rather than an inherently limited suite of sensors. Merging the control system with actual hardware has to

Well Amazon surely didn’t plow $700 million dollars into their deal with Rivian for no reason.  Those vans are coming.

That’s my thought. I’ve never met a driving sim AI that I would allow out into the real world track environment, even in a 100% controlled environment where they couldn’t cause harm to people.

That’s disgusting.

And if you watch or read interviews from the folks who make the AI for Forza, the put a shit ton of info and data into making them good. Like, a lot a lot. Electricians driving around in electric vehicles, what a concept! LOL

I REALLY need to see a full track of cars doing this. Sure the race would only be 30 seconds long and might conclude without a winner, but it would be HIGHLY entertaining.

Username checks out.

When reached for comment the only thing Roborace Car would say was, “Please place the items in the bagging area.”

If only years and years of watching AI from racing video games would have predicted this!

I take back everything bad I’ve ever said about the actual RAV4.

Good Lord that's bad. I mean properly terrible.

Yes, I have a friend whose business builds EV charging stations, including for Tesla and Electrify America, but also for organizations seeking to electrify portions of their fleet. They have an insane pipeline, including building the kind of stuff you’re talking about.

As someone who works for a commercial electrical contractor that has distribution centers make up a fairly large chunk of it’s backlog, I can tell you, this EV van shit is real and its coming fast. That One Big E-Commerce Supplier That I Cannot Name But You Sure As Shit Know Who It Is has been sending out plans for
