I don’t really understand the love for the fox bodies in general, especially the notchback. Solid platform? The fox body stangs were notorious for twisting so hard that they broke the seats. I had a 2.3L 89 Fox and it even happened to that one.

If it’s machining capacity you need, you find someone else with the same machine and control that your supplier has and give them a contract, too; a few days to build some duplicate tooling and copy the program over, and good to go.

I let the car down on to the stands and then raise the jack back up so it’s in contact but not holding any weight and leave it there as a backup unless the jack will be in the way.
