I should clarify that I’m aware there are people for whom higher gas prices will be a legitimate hardship. However, I don’t believe that’s the case for 99% of the people here screaming about Keystone XL or whatever and I will refer those people to the image above.

As for trying to “extort Ukraine for political favors”, best not to look around at Hilary or team Biden either...

I wonder if any of these additives have lead in them. Then again, if you’re buying something like this you’ve probably lost enough IQ points as it is.

Not a great start to an article about decreased IQs.

My take on Musk is that his grand plans are generally for the betterment of humanity (I’m sure there are those who disagree, but there’s at least a compelling argument to be made in his favor). His day-to-day behavior is frequently reprehensible though. He’s pretty much the living embodiment of “ends justify the

Because the right wingers are already ripping Biden for high gas prices as if he caused this instead of, you know, Trump, who tried to extort Ukraine for political favors in exchange for military aid and was good buddies with Putin. They need to be called out for the whiny, hypocritical bastards that they are.

Are we talking about the same Trump here? The one who heard Putin was invading Ukraine and thought it was “pretty smart” and “genius”?

    I bet you’re fun at parties. :-P

We have a standalone GMC/Buick dealer here. It’s right next to the combination Stellantis/Hyundai dealer (no, I don’t know how that happened either).

Between the bed and that nav screen, I feel like this was a case study in bad truck design that accidentally got built when someone mixed up the paperwork.

There’s a joke waiting to be written here. I’m just too lazy to work on it.

Good, now recall all of the other GM vehicles with glaring headlights. Which would be pretty much all of them.

I wish you the best of luck. GM pickups have been some of the biggest glare problems on the road for years now. It would be nice if the new one fixed that.

GM was first. At one point it was guaranteed that if you were being blinded by truck headlights they were either illegal aftermarket ones or a new GM. I was actually surprised the first time it was a Ford instead of a GM.

It is going to take a deft diplomatic hand to get him out of Ukraine while allowing him to save face. Shooting his planes down and demonstrating that his military is even shittier than it already looks is not going to do that.

Yeah, the interesting number isn’t how many they reported stolen, it’s how many they mistakenly reported stolen.

Make the window narrow, then refresh. The narrow window triggers a different layout with everything on one page, and the refresh is needed because Kinja.

It’s not just about the money. AIUI, this plane is a point of national pride for Ukraine (which is likely part of why Russia destroyed it). It would be like if the Statue of Liberty got bombed and someone didn’t want to rebuild it because it would cost more than it brings in from tourist revenue. Except this plane is

This weekend I saw multiple truck stops with diesel over $5/gallon. Thankfully I was driving my Prius (which is currently looking like the smartest purchase I ever made) because filling up the truck would have cost in the three figures easily.
