Not really a cliffhanger. More of a cheap gimmick padded out with a lot of bad writing.

A Benny Hill musical soundtrack would not have been out of place.
What a mess. I laughed when they were on foot and got surrounded by the whistling Saviors. That was some Z-grade horror movie ridiculousness.
And here I was thinking that the Jack Nicholson-looking-and-acting guy was Negan.
I think it's selfish because, as you say, they're still too unsettled. A pregnancy and baby takes up more food and medicine, and slows the group down if they find themselves on the move again. But then the show never dealt with Judith in anything approaching realistic terms- she's just a happy, chubby, quiet baby,…
Exactly, just some sort of acknowledgment. And speaking of liquor, I don't understand why they've never collected, saved, and used alcohol as a disinfectant and analgesic. You'd think they'd place a high premium on bottles of vodka.
Dale's didn't bother me, because it was early days and they were all still adjusting to a post-apocalyptic world. Plus I don't think Dale ever said it was wrong to kill in self-defense (I could be wrong though, I can't really remember).
It was my favourite part of the episode. AL and LM have good chemistry, I loved them together in season 1.
I didn't say it's not possible. I'm just giving the side-eye to a big, dramatic, movie-of-the-week miscarriage when she's only 8 weeks along. The screaming really was a little much.
I agree miscarriage would be very likely in her situation. I disagree with how it looks like the show is going to play it out. And Maggie made a deliberate, (and selfish and stupid) decision to get pregnant, so I have a hard time empathizing with her pregnancy drama.
It's cheap autopilot drama.
True, but Maggie's pov was basically presented as the correct one.
For sure. And I've disliked Maggie ever since she threw them at Lori and said "here's your abortion pills" in that super pissy tone of voice.
Fetal walker would sure be a lot more fun than a Lifetime-movie-of-the-week style miscarriage. But bad gas is certainly possible, she is pregnant after all.
Botulism! Or maybe Enid poisoned them…
I'm already rolling my eyes at the miscarriage drama. She's supposed to be about 8 weeks along, right? That means some cramping and a heavy period. Not rolling around screaming like we saw in this episode, and getting carried away on a stretcher like they hinted for next week.
That seems to be TWD playbook- build up a new set of enemies for an entire season, then some confusing shit happens that doesn't really make any sense, then they start focusing on building up a new set of enemies again…I feel like ever since the end of the first season I've been waiting for SOMETHING to happen on this…
Glenn is very handsome, but he's too much of a Mr Nice Guy. Daryl still has bad boy appeal.
When he said "everything's a circle", I thought Rick would kill him. Or at least punch him in the face. You're no Rust Cohle, Morgan.
It was fun seeing Denise bite the dust and Eugene bite a dick, but in 42 minutes of airtime only about 10-15 minutes tell a story. The rest is just filler- sparse, wooden, pointless dialogue and lingering shots of uninteresting scenery. It really feels as though they're trying to do as little with this show as…
