Father Gabriel was holed up safely in the church- he must have gotten a great deal on communion wafers at Costco just before the ZA happened.

They shoulda had a scene where Morgan empties Eastman's pockets before burying him, and when he reads his ID it says "Creighton Dallas Welton"…dun dun dun

I wonder if in the future, we'll see Morgan really flip his wig and go on a mass slaughter.

Emily Kinney seems like a really nice person, but imo she's a very weak actress. I thought her poor acting was notable in just about everything she did in the entire series.

Agreed. Top notch acting this episode.

The psychiatrist's backstory really did sound like a Stephen King novel, lol

That lecture about PTSD and the door…the whole time I was thinking, the Walking Dead writers and the Z Nation writers must have read the same internet article when they were researching PTSD.

I thought the episode was a bit uneven. It's kinda hard to believe that that Peter Straub-looking psychiatrist survived that long without killing any people or even any animals. And with all that time he would have spent digging graves in the zombie graveyard, surely his homestead would have been taken over. Oh well.

I was a bit confused at first why Morgan had Richard Ramirez tied up in an empty house.

Z Nation is beyond stupid, but for the most part it does what it says on the tin. Some episodes have been really great, well executed, B horror entertainment. Other episodes have been pretty bad. But at least it doesn't pretend to be something its not.

Good point, and I'm with you in that I don't watch the Talking Dead either. And while watching the episode, I believed Glenn was really dead, and it wasn't until I read all the comments about the talk show that i realized his "death" was pretty much a publicity stunt however they handle it.

Glenn isn't dead. I'm kinda annoyed they're pulling such a cheap stunt, but what can you do.

Good point. I can see a set-up were everyone tells her to give him up as dead and move on, but Maggie keeps believing he's alive. Then when he shows up in time for the twins, she'll be all "I told you so! You were wrong!" and then a zombie will eat her because she backchatted Rick.

Z Nation will give you a wider variety of zombies than you can shake a stick at.

Am I the only one who misses Rick's beard? I thought wild, greasy, ungroomed Rick was kinda sexy.

I agree it's possible Glenn survived. If he's alive though, he probably won't pop up for a while. First we have to have lots of drawn out scenes of Maggie falling to her knees screaming and crying.

Korl's hair is the product of an unholy union between Justin Beiber, David Cassidy, and Lucifer Himself. He must spend a lot of his time in Alexandria under the blow drier, when he's not taking care of Judith of course.

I agree with you, other than Carol I was underwhelmed by this episode. I enjoyed last week a lot more.

That and also the "just survive somehow" thing they repeatedly hit us over the head with. I took it to mean if survival meant allying yourself with a group like the Wolves, so be it. She's not a Wolf because she's bad, she just wants to survive and all that jazz.

I'll always have a soft spot for this show, I'll keep watching it as long as it airs, and I love Rick and Carol. But I must be on a totally different wave length than most other viewers because I thought this episode was a huge letdown. B- at best.
