Some designs never go out of style
The biggest anime disappointment of 2014 for me. I was totally hyped for it due to the names attached to it but that hype didn’t last more than a few episodes. I think I liked the 2nd part more than the 1st but that’s not saying much.
I will just pretend like they forgot to add it as a choice because nothing else explains its absence from the top 5.
I wasn’t expecting much from it but then I looked at the clock and almost 2 hours had passed. So far it’s the perfect combination of easy time waster mixed with nostalgia.

I thought it was a pretty fun show despite its obvious lack of budget. I wish they would have spent a little less time on the harem aspects but it wasn't as annoying as something like Trinity Seven.
This is probably my favorite for the season although the Death Parade OP is a close second. Also I think this is the first time a show has had my favorite OP & ED of a season.

Obviously that thing will be useless unless she is a teenager.
I've given up on them ever bothering to provide more context as to why he is basically the only one who can do anything that is useful.
Since they had to cut so much I imagine the human crew didn't get any additional back story, which was one of the things that bothered me a little with the TV series.
There is so much to like about this show and it ended up being one of my favorites of 2014. Here is another tidbit:
I'm still not sure if I think Cross Ange is a good show but it certainly has never bored me. I really didn't like it at first but after a few episodes I could look past the fanservice and just enjoy the crazy ride that it is.
Looks like it's time to press the button.
