Quick time, but I still find the manual Viper’s time to be the most impressive of them all and now I want a manual production car to be created and smash into the 6s.

Regarding the Bolt...I read elsewhere that only the EUV version of the Bolt will appear as an Ultium-based vehicle again in a year or two. So the Bolt is just on a temporary hiatus.

SO it looks like there will essentially not be any passenger cars left in 2024, I mean the Mustang is sticking around, but it seems like the ONLY vehicle available from a US automaker are CUV/SUV/Truck, at least non EV vehicles.

The law of supply and demand. They did make small cars. They weren’t profitable because:

The consumer doesn’t always want what is the safest for them. As long as that is true, and consumers love large vehicles, the automakers won’t decrease size.

You should try it with a cop following you, and see if they can say the same.

Go look in the Bahama’s. There are now two and soon to be one more “beach” that the cruises take people. They literally park the boat off the coast, then put you on a small boat to go to the “beach” that they own and make you pay for dumb stuff. So sure, you have been to the Bahamas, but you just went to a company

In fairness to the computers, it isn’t really possible to drive for any distance or length of time without having to break some law. That is more a condemnation of the contradictory mess that our legal system has become as we have gradually accumulated laws to try and square every circle and appease every headline

Yep, this, exactly. Once you get to top-loyalty status and multi-cruise discounts, cruising, especially in an interior room, becomes *significantly* cheaper than assisted living. Hell, do it right and it’s cheaper than rent in a NYC apartment. Show me a decent apartment in any of the 5 boroughs that includes all your

These are ment to be ENTRY LEVEL jobs and pay accordingly. The mandate that these slackers who can’t muster the motivation to be under-achievers should earn enough to “live” on removes the incentive to work on their skills and education and get a real job that supports their lifestyle.

That is the way that business works.  when something is no longer profitable, it is abandoned.

The article mentions nothing about the amount of profit the California franchises make (as a percentage or otherwise). So the article doesn’t address the point at all.

Drunken fights AND a sex cult?

I bet we can’t get any protest marches supporting this Palestine :(

Cruise outrage is always interesting to me. The two I’ve been on were affordable and enjoyable. I have no interest in a 9-month cruise, however. One week is perfectly fine.

This is an extraordinarily stupid statement on multiple levels.

I drove through there last weekend, there’s people that just moved on and kept on living life, but the place is still largely like a ghost town.

It depends. I took my first cruise ever this past fall, 6 nights. It was not in the Caribbean, 98% of passengers were not American, there were ZERO children, the scenery was great, the food was great, there were only about 275 passengers, and most people did not speak English as their first language. It was wonderful.

Problem is, there’s really no place on Earth that they could go to live that isn’t also part of a “country” or “nation” or some other construct where a population is organized into something like a “society”. Scare quotes, b/c hey, of course these asshats don’t recognize the legitimacy of any of those concepts, as

You know, I actually have to give you credit for turning this one into a slideshow. Well played.
