Well you are at odds with the medical community which just came out and definitively said that CFS is a debilitating condition with a clear set of physical systems and is not a psychological illness.

I only use lip balm like burts, I need beeswax or coconut oil. I read somewhere that the vasoline in Chapstick dries your lips thus you use MORE of it. I don't know if it's true, but burts works better for me.

I find SLS too drying and irritating to my skin. I also avoid it in toothpaste because of studies linking it to increased canker sore formation. It is a known irritant and penetration enhancer. So even if by itself it is harmless, it could be used in conjunction with other not so good things.
