If Radulov can be what he’s capable of, they may be able to fight for a playoff spot, but this team is demonstrably worse than they were last year, and it’s going to take a Herculean effort by Price to put this team in contention. (And since it’s Carey Price, that’s entirely possible).
The prevailing narrative is that the Canadiens seemed to be displeased that PK cared about building “his brand”. They felt like PK came before the Canadiens. His presence in the locker room seemed divisive as well. They (reportedly, again) felt he didn’t take losing seriously enough. Rubbed some of the guys the wrong…
Bill Foley, the guy who will be the majority owner, went to Army, the Black Knights.
The Steve Simmons hot takes will be SO salty. I can’t wait.
Hedman has been great for years. People are only just now starting to notice. He’s right up there with the league’s elite defensemen.
The Pacific division has been better. The rest of the west is a smouldering trash heap. Washington has been head and shoulders above the rest of the league this season, and Pittsburgh is the hottest team in the league for months now.
Regardless of the outcome, it’s hard to see the Caps labeled chokers this year. The Penguins have been one of, if not the best team in the league for months. Blues are looking pretty rough against Dallas so far, and if Seguin were to come back... hoo boy. For a team with defense that bad, the Blues aren’t taking…
Mike Ricci was a sex symbol in Colorado.
Lol, this guy has Hollywood pegged perfectly.
On the contrary, I’m shocked the NHL actually suspended him for any playoff games.
The Leafs screwed themselves by getting 2 points, the Flyers by winning, AND the Bruins by allowing Philly to gain a point.
Hey, it takes a lot of perserverence for a Canadian man to come back from drunkenly crashing into a Timmy’s.
Dave Brevik was part of the team that made Hellgate: London (which was not bad, but ultimately too flawed to be successful). He now runs Gazillion Entertainment, which produces Marvel Heroes, which is actually fairly successful/popular. (edit: I guess he just stepped down as CEO in January.)
If you’ve never played it, and you like Diablo III, or Path of Exile, or Grim Dawn, or any of the other successors, ABSOLUTELY give it a play.
Brian Burke absolutely fleeced Jim Nill on that Kris Russell trade. Makes me feel slightly better about all the nothing Holland has done since Nill left.
This save was insane, and truly a “save of the year” candidate. Best part is that it wasn’t the player shooting the puck right into the goalie’s stick, it was the goalie making a scrambling, diving save. Not to mention the fact that it was a win-preserving save right at the deadline.
My wife was watching it while I was feeding my daughter a bottle last night. I was riveted. Really well written and offered a different perspective on a situation that doesn’t see a lot of mainstream discussion as shown in the show.
You should absolutely give it a chance if nothing else. I don’t watch much TV on the regular, but my wife records this on the DVR. The show has never failed to be entertaining to me. The best thing is it’s cut from the same cloth as something like the Cosby Show was. It’s not a “show for black people”, it’s a show…
Not that we should expect anyone in Montreal to react rationally to anything.
