"he hit his former teammates with a trollish wave and then rounded the bases with a shit-eating grin plastered on his face"
I knew the Cube was gone. I did not know it had previously visited the strip. If only there had been video!
This article would've been much better if you had taken the Cube instead.
Barry Trotz does seem to be a great fit for the Caps. Look at Shea Weber, he produced offensively in a defensive system. As a Wings fan, I've watched many years of the Wings being far superior on paper, only to fall short against Nashville. Trotz has some great offensive tools in Washington to work with (aside from…
Which ones? The Bikers (motorcycles), or Bikers (cyclists)? Because BOTH are annoying.
"Royal Oak is college after college, a city full of bars where 30-somethings get blackout drunk."
Ford's "Build and Price" configurator is really in depth and almost any option you choose will show up on the model. Even small details like Upfitter Switches and the unique King Ranch hub covers on the trucks and show up when added. As fun as it can be to fantasize about the Porche's or Lamborghini's I'll never own,…
It's tough to do when you don't full-on tank a few seasons to draft the caliber of players you mention for the other teams. Chicago was abysmal before they got Toews and Kane. Pittsburgh was abysmal before they got Crosby and Malkin. Even drafting high isn't a guarantee, look at what Washington has done...
Man, not much love for the Barb being shown in the comments here!
A little comparison:
I'm really liking that feature. Not only are the area tilesets randomized, but the different lighting/filters on them make even old areas feel fresh.
I've gambled probably 500-ish some shards since the hotfix and I've gotten two legendaries. I had gotten none prior to the buff in a similar number of tries. I would throw a guess that you need somewhere between 500-1000 shards gambled on average to get a legendary.
Right. I think it's also pretty similar to the "Little Nicky" syndrome. You kill a demon, he goes back to hell. Repeat ad infinitum. Of course each story has the element of "defeated for good this time!" only to be proven false by the next story in the series.
The problem was certainly in the story far more than design. I mean in D2 Diablo ran around like a dog on speed. I think D3 Diablo was fine in design, as were Asmodan, Belial, the Butcher, etc, etc. But the banal monologuing that all 3 big bosses did just ruined what could have been. The Butcher at least kept quiet…
@JChoj: Right, given the near 200-some potential Legendaries available right now, finding all 5 pieces of a set, given the current drop rates, could take a really long time, if ever. I would still consider loot 2.0 a success, given the actual loot is vastly improved, but they need to fix the issue of drop rates and/or…
I totally agree that the Bind On Account rule needs to go. With no AH, players NEED a means to trade items. That's one of the fundamental parts of the Diablo franchise. There are various solutions, either Bind on Equip, or removing any binding completely, but something more needs to be done to facilitate trading. If I…
