I think it’s meant to be a handoff situation Ash has won his championship and they want to try a new protagonist but they want to see how he is recieved before moving away from Ash. Honestly I think they should have just went with a new protagonist and a time skip of a few years.

I only got into reading the manga on the Shonen Jump app after the Talking Simpsons folks did an entire episode about it. Really shocking stuff, and not as pretentious as Death Note!

I’ve never watched ProJared. I met him at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo a year ago and had no idea he was an internet celebrity at the time. It wasn’t memorable until we walked away and my friend was like, “THAT WAS PROJARED!!”
