When I was 8yo My stepdad and I laid the carpet and paneled the walls and doors of a blue ‘83 Dodge Van - the one with the incredibly long body. The transmission died in the mud on our first deer hunting trip with it. On a trip to Mexico that same year, I let my 64pk of Crayola melt into a puddle all the way at the

It’s not the height of the lights that looks wonky - it’s the kink where the two arcs that make up that shape converge above the lights that make it look wrong. One arc with the lights still low on the body would have made it look much nicer.

Hmmm. Back in the greys, am I? I wonder if that has anything to do with me having an opinion that disagrees with a member of the writing staff?

Ditto. I have really come to appreciate David’s writing in the last month or so.

So, you’re really not allowed to drive to a friend’s house in Michigan? It’s strange the differences in prohibition from state to state. I basically just can’t eat at restaurants, otherwise my life is unchanged. Out of a city of millions we’ve had roughly 50 C19 deaths.

I know a bunch of girls who wear masks and dance on the weekend. I should probably look into this...

You seem like a fun guy.

Yeah, no. I’d have to have that shaped out and repainted. Terrible idea.

My exact thoughts. Not for me, but a smaller human with a similar mindset. $7500 thoroughly completed.

Maybe it’s just the shadows in the pics but does the line looping over the wheel follow all the way to the tip of the lights (Like on an old Porsche or a 1994 Celica) or is that geometry made up of two arcs that intersect near the top of the light? I can’t tell and it looks a bit wonky to me. Like I can see both the

We lost a spring on the very first MR2T I ever lowered. Three of us working over the compressed spring to get it uncompressed. Suddenly, the compressor slipped, the spring cracked the edge of my driveway and launched itself towards the moon somewhere never to be seen again.

I can’t remember a time when Toyota EFI was ever problematic and I’ve had every generation of Celica from the first two carb’d ones to the turbocharged Yamaha headed EFI models (I skipped that last abomination). The carbs were only problematic if you decided to rebuild them and their 27 gaskets but they started right

That’s criminal.

Wait, what?!? I have always thought hoodscoop=intercooler=turbo with Subarus? This feels like finding out Santa isn’t real.

One each wasn’t it?

I mean , you had to let her know what she was getting into somehow, right?

Are you people crazy? The entire underbody is 100% rust.

HELL NO! Is that what ya’ll’s cars really look like underneath?!? That rust is crazy unacceptable in my world. This car has more rust on one bolt than exists on my entire 30yo DD.

There exists at least one Honda fan out there with enough disposable disposable cash out there that will want this at near full MSRP. I’m not that guy. Even if it was the equivalent Toyota offering I still wouldn’t be that guy.

I’m so ready for real life Voltron (I go with the vehicle version).
