I have come to notice the word “reliable” is an extremely relative thing in the auto enthusiast community.

I’ll feed you in Fort Worth. Organize this well enough and you could save cash on an entire summer’s worth of food! (And see all the cool rusty Jalop cars across the country. Sorry in advance that my Texas cars don’t have any rust for you to find :/ Except you will really love the turbo manifolds - they’re just your…
Buy the new Jeep, put the best parts from both jeeps onto the best body and then sell the shittier version for most of your $3k investment.
I mean, they typically feature a 2JZ-GE that hasn’t been stressed all of it’s life. That’s all of the justification I require [Assuming it’s manual].
The amount of assumption and projection in these comments is surprisingly high. It’s worth the flooded inbox just to study it first hand. I wonder if there is an equally rabid conservative car enthusiast site with which to compare? I might have to see what sort of hornets nest I can poke at in a pro-brodozer forum or…
I’m not a conservative. I can, and do, think for myself. I also don’t need any seeds so I have no dog in this fight. Since you seem to need it spelled out for you, there are entire websites dedicated to this type of political BS. This shouldn’t be one of them.
Is it because they’re in cars that makes this article appropriate for a website for car enthusiasts? That seems like a pretty flimsy excuse to write yet another political article. No?
Ah, yet another political article telling other people how bad they are and assuming their intelligence because they disagree with you.
In Texas, where even 1980's MR2s don’t rust, these things never had floorboards that I’m aware of. My aunt and a few of my Mom’s friends in the 80's had these cars and they were all Flintstones mobiles. I think these were all the Oldsmobile versions but I can’t tell the difference. They were also all blue for some…
I thought that was Love? (So corny)
I had a MKII Supra P-Type. Same experience. Soooo smooth, too.
I’m down to three 1990's Toyotas. But all of mine are running, rust-free and restored.
It’s fucking gross, man. They just assume you’re in on it and try to have these racist conversations I haven’t heard in Texas since the 80's. They’re fucking shocked when you call them out on it.
The rectangular housings are free floating. All of the adjustment is made in the bracket that surrounds them once installed. I did have that issue on a set of OEM projectors on a ‘94 Celica.
If you want a toaster, 2nd gen xB is where it’s at. The 2.4L really improved that car. It’s dead reliable too - not one flaw (Aside from it being a toaster).
Remember when all of the Japanese companies got it in their heads that all a 25yo American wanted to drive was funky, toaster-shaped Japanese shit boxes provided we sprinkled them with reject Fast and The Furious bodykit parts?
$500 conversion from a reputable brand, last I checked. Maybe I need to check again. Know the spot?
I started smoking in NYC and they were $1.25 out of the machine. They’re still that much in many countries. The government in NY is out of hand.
Adam Carolla really has been making some good documentaries the last few years.
That’s a shame. I have really enjoyed this series of yours. Thank you for providing non-politically laced content like this. It’s why I come to this site.
