I was so distracted by, what looks to me like, the old Celica Dragon/Swan symbol in the passenger side mirror of the third photo I got nostalgic for a car I haven’t driven in 20 years. I know it’s not there BTW.

I’m just over here with my cars full of $30/gallon Toyota For-Life-Coolant (Concentrated). Do you have any idea how much coolant a 1990 MR2 Turbo with it’s, roughly, 8 miles of coolant hoses requires? How about the impossibly large capacity of a Lexus 1UZ-FE V8? Well, my Celica GT4 not only uses it for coolant but

Much like Mr.Tracy, I’ve got a collection of weird force inducted Toyotas out at my ranch. Unlike Mr.Tracy, all of mine run (They are Toyotas after all) and thanks to Texas weather, none of them are rusty.

Back in the early 2000's I dated a Goth girl that had a van similar to this that was, you guessed it, black with red accents and interior (Looked more like the A-Team to me but she was born about the time that show was popular so she didn’t know what I was talking about). It had been passed down through 4-5 family

Throughout mankind’s development there was only one “Hummer” anyone ever desired. Then, for a brief window in the 90's and early 00's the meaning of the term shifted to describe another object of man’s lust. It has now reverted back to it’s original meaning and is destined to remain so forevermore.

Great, now can we have the 262HP Turbo Ascent engine for the Toyota 86 finally? That’s basically the only hope Toyota has of ever seeing any of my new car money ever again. I used to buy too many new Toyotas but that hasn’t happened but one time in two decades thanks to their BS offerings.

nvm

So, does that make David Tracy a minion of Satan?

Daily driven 1990 Turbo! She turns 30yo in June and yes I am having a party for her.

“Elizabeth Warren is awful”*

One of your better efforts IMO.

This is non-turbo MR2 money so sure.

Don’t feel too bad, David. I, too, am an engineer (A contributing member of the IMechE even) and I have also hydro-locked a beloved engine in a rally racing related incident. Mine was an AWD Turbo Celica which are also very rare - in Texas anyway.

Massive upgrade

That sounds way dirtier than you may have meant it.

That is a fucking LOT of ricochets.

I would probably just refrain from reading those articles if I felt as strongly as you do about it.

Jay Leno is probably the only buyer for this car but I doubt he wants it either.

I did that to my mom once in her 1977 Celica GT. This would have been in the early 1980's. She still reminded me not to ever touch that release the last time I was able to fit behind her on a car trip in her Supra (Never mind the fact that the Supra didn’t have one near the floor on the DS) in probably 1994.

You use punctuation, therefore, your writings can be easily understood. Typing mistakes are inevitable. Purposely omitting punctuation causes many sentences to have multiple possible meanings.
