IDK, is the design worse than a C6? It looked almost exactly like a Suburban in there. This, at least, feels special.

Yep - that’s what I was seeing. Thank you. I couldn’t quite place it.
Tell me about it. I DD an MR2T so this article wasn’t exactly good news to me - especially after reviewing Kristen’s stellar review of the MR2T she drove a few years back. Something along the lines of “It felt just like the MR2 I drove but more raw and dangerous with a V8 back there” would have been the review that…
Dog hair?!? Who are you dating?
It looks to me like it would be a Cadillac for some reason. That would be so left field for Cadillac.
Seeing the development in the metal like that is interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Key word is “nearly”. Our MR2s are supposed to be like that. I think what Kristen was trying to describe is that this car doesn’t have that quality. But I bet the Z06 absolutely will with the ride mode selected.
my 1990 Turbo is a bit...raw...in the handling department but nothing I can’t handle. That reputation, like most, is greatly exaggerated.
This is the base model. They will dial back the nanny systems for the upper spec models, guaranteed.
That’s a mid-engine removable roof trait. There’s no getting around it if you want those features and rigidity.
That interior makes my MR2T look positively useful by comparison. No thanks.
Everyone has bitched incessantly for decades about the Chevy Suburban-like interior of every previous Corvette (With good reason - it was worse than shit). Now they go for it with better materials and design and everyone bitches about it.
It’s really about your resistance to claustrophobic feelings. I’m 6'4", 225lbs. and much smaller people than I complain about the perceived lack of space in my MR2T from the passenger seat. Meanwhile, I have less room on the driver’s side and I feel like the car is wrapped perfectly around me. It helps that I don’t…
The 911 is a rear-engine car. This car is mid-engine. There is a very big difference.
I design buildings for a living, I used to allow those people to get me upset back when I was younger and significantly dumber.
Right
I like that you describe it as “well placed”. Star for that alone.
This is one of the better one IMO. Maybe fix the area where the airdam meets the tires?
I think it would work better with the Gen2 LS400 (UCF-20) front. It’s a subtle difference but would be more cohesive looking. I wish I had photoshop or some approximation of it.
This, I love.
