You must have had a very clapped out MR2. My 1990 Turbo has been dead reliable for three decades.

Toyota had 3 different turbo 2-doors in the 90's and all were simple to maintain. I hope to add the third one to complete my collection sometime this year. The other two are still easy daily drivers.

I bought my mother one of the release editions with the entire TRD catalog thrown at it (She wanted to relive her Celica-girl days from the early 1980's and the Celica had just been retired the year before. tC might as well stand for Toyota Celica tho). It was a demo car for Scion but it had very few miles on it.

Toyota had this style wing on the Celica, Supra and MR2 at least as early as 1994 in the US. They were rare AF tho. 

My old all-Toyota car club had a Matrix XRS as our beer cart. You can imagine why that was an incredibly bad idea but we were all fresh out of college with disposable income and highly competitive natures.

The ENTIRE car is an oddly Yamaha-powered hot mess. Somehow that engine makes up for all that disgusting bodywork.

Even if you have say, Texas plates, and are obeying the speed limit will you still be pulled over and given a ticket for possession of a radar/laser detector (I assume it can only detect radar and not laser - is that correct?)?

I’m 6'4" 225lbs, very little fat and I fit in my MKII MR2 Turbo without having to move the seat completely to the rear of it’s adjustment. I do have the seats reclined significantly but I can still fit the T-Tops in their spot behind the seats without effecting my preferred driving position at all.
