Tell me about that when the starter actually does go. I had to do one on mine last year and it seriously made me angrier than any job I’ve ever done before. That starter is damn near an engine-out job (It’s not, but you’ll be considering it).

Don’t ever change the Nakamichi. I’ve got a ‘97 LS as my DD and I’ve never changed the Nak because the damn thing is amazing. Just do the mod, it requires a tiny bit of soldering but nothing hardcore.
