I don’t disagree with that assessment at all. That’s why I put men in my comment. I find it ridiculous that a man would train for a decade for a career in a field that requires him to spend little to no time at home and expect to be a good parent. The burden is on the woman, and that sucks.

The point is that there may never be a good time. People choose their professions mostly. Along with making the decision to become a highly educated professional that has to spend a decade preparing for said profession comes choices as to what you can and cannot have. Sometimes these choices are hard, but they are

Christ, I genuinely can’t imagine spending this much time judging the physical appearance of strangers. Shave, don’t shave, whatever, who gives a fuck? It’s just hair.

Don’t even get started on how comments like that make women losing their hair feel.

Okay I completely agree with your comment. But the real reason I’m here is to tell you I just reread The Last Camel Died at Noon for probably the 3rd or 4th time. I’m rereading all the Amelia Peabody Emerson books in chronological order cause it’s been quite awhile. Having a blast.

This comment almost always comes up in a William thread and is usually the first comment. These people who make these comments are trashcans.

My husband, who’s 48, came racing downstairs just the other day exclaiming, “Why haven’t you told me I’m going bald?” My response: “I thought you knew!” Granted, it’s happening at the top of his head near the back, so it’s possible he hasn’t actually seen it. But how could it go unnoticed when he washes his hair?

I’m responding to you, but huge thanks to all the women on this thread standing up for balding guys like me. I get really self-conscious looking at photos (especially when older ones pop up on FB), so it’s nice to hear from others that it’ll be ok

Sarah Jessica Parker seems like a genuinely lovely person but she really picked the wrong hill to die on. Kim couldn’t be more in the right.

Anyone who heard about his most famous rape (of Geimer) and didn’t think this was a scenario he had repeated numerous times before and after that with other victims is a moron.

Just die, Roman. You nasty old rapist hellspawn.

its all stupid but this argument about fetal pain is the stupidest of all. Everything following birth is “painful” - the heel prick, the goop they put in the babies eyes. Just being outside of the womb is a “painful” experience for babies. But, as adults, we realize that a little of pain now is better than a lifetime

No amount of legislation will prevent a woman hellbent on getting her hands on an abortion from getting an abortion.

Once again, for emphasis.

What a time to be reminded that it’s easier in this country to buy a fucking machine gun than it is to get an abortion.

How many of these Jesus humping congrassholes have swooped in and adopted children to help them live full and happy lives? Also, this is Pence, all turdface Pence, who also has no adopted children.

No.

My face reading those beautiful beautiful tweets:

Sorry mama Michelle, but these people need some “get right.”

When they go low, we’ll get lower and punch you in the taint.
