If you’re going to name a pickup truck after a metal whose uses are as cool as its name, you won’t find much better than “tungsten.”

My wedding ring(s) are Tungsten-Carbide with a diamond chip. It was $80 at Overstock, or you could overpay at roughly $500 in a handful of jewelry stores I saw the exact same ring in.
You watched Arrival and Prisoners and came away feeling they were cold and emotionless?
I like how it just ends abruptly.
There’s not an ounce of insight in it! It reads like an 8th grader trying to fake a book report.
My take is Herbert used that as shorthand for desert culture, not that Arrakis is populated by the descendants of Arabic/Middle Eastern Earthlings.
Gal Gadot?
Why?
Dune is a story that takes place 10,000 years in the future. Commenting on the presumed improper ancestry of the actors playing the main characters is more than a little silly.
This whole review, sentence fragments and all, reads like hastily scrawled first impressions.
This definitely seems to make room for the 4Runner to go down a size and maintain it’s 40K ish starting price, using the new Tacoma platform.
Amen. The only thing I can figure is that the 4Runner is moving a bit downmarket and way more off-road. The Bronco and Wrangler have very real reliability and build quality problems. A true competitor with Toyota reliability has a chance to dominate that market entirely. If they aren't doing that, I have no idea what…
I hope you find better employment elsewhere. I have a 4Runner Limited, which is based on the Prado, and you’d have to pay me to drive something else. I’m sure EVs are smoother, but it still rides really well for a truck chassis, and if Toyota offered a hybrid version in the future I’d be looking to trade in.
Conceptually, I don’t know if the market will take to it like that.
My experience is that OE rubber is almost always trash. Its a carefully engineered product to ride quietly, get good mileage and drive nice...for 20,000 miles and be pretty worthless after he first 10,000.
You mean random weirdos on the internet were wrong when they said they were done making xboxs? Shocking.
I mean, I don’t think that’s necessarily right. But if you decide to finance something like a new car, you should look long and hard at why you’re doing it, how much your borrowing, and what it’s actually costing you. By way of example (and frankly my own from a couple years ago):
“The officers had reason to believe Jackson owned/possessed a firearm with a suppressor.”
Maybe if somebody has such bad PTSD that they think acorns are gunshots and empty their firearm at the sound of an acorn, they shouldn’t be allowed access to firearms?
Sorry Jesse. That story didn’t sell on tape, and it ain’t going to get any extra credit here.
