I was going to say the exact opposite. NoCal has split off to become part of Oregon and central and southern California look a lot more like TX.

Are you kidding? There’s literally been studies that show trucks are more lethal to pedestrians and other cars. The experts are saying that the LowPolyTruck will be even worse due to its particular design.

There are a bunch of peope who want trucks that are less giant. It’s starting to dawn on folks that full-sized trucks are sub-optimized for the driving that the great majority of them actually do.

I suspect it’s MOST people in general, the Rivian is “small” for a truck, and the Tacoma is the baby Toyota, a truck that size, is first closer to what a regular truck owner would “need” in terms of size, and since it’s smaller  you don’t end up with some 4 ton rolling EV brick.
