I recently rented a really nice new 300 with that dial shifter and it ruins the entirety of what would otherwise be a great vehicle. What a shitty design and implementation. Not sporadically, EVERY damn time you use it. I would expect nothing less from Chrysler. Jesus.

Are you me? I have the exact same experience. Actually I went, Misfits, BR, Social Distortion, NOFX, etc. but eerily similar. I grew up in Santa Cruz and saw them when they toured as a youth and learned about a lot of new bands through the opening acts.

I would consider a Forester or Outback if they came in manual. Engines are too puny for CVT or automatic. NO thanks. I have always liked their products tho.
