Assuming its a standard crate engine (non-performance heads) let’s say its making 265HP at the fly. The wagon clocks in at ~3300 lbs curb with the v6.

Fuel economy in trucks and SUVs has increased a lot since the late nineties and early aughts. About 40% increase in combined driving. It would take +$5 per gallon gas to really change any trends and I don’t see that happening anytime soon.
