Needing religious affiliation to succeed in an election, in a country that espouses separation of church and state, is ridiculous. Yet here we…

Blows my mind that in the USA, you almost need some sort of religion affiliation to be successful in politics. I’ll never understand that.

I hate the phrase “money doesn’t buy happiness”. Sure, having money doesn’t make you happy, but it does give you peace of mind knowing you’ll be able to pay your bills, rent, buy food and clothes, or anything else you need. To me, that’s happiness.

Look at the way “like a girl” is used as an insult for boys.  Throw like a girl.  Cry like a girl.  Whine like a girl (said by people who clearly have not been paying attention, because men can whine until you want to shoot them).  Being a girl is seen as being both less than and other.  It’s really irritating.
