"shrink" in 1998 was the turning point for me. it's also fantastic.

i love me some prepositional-phrase-era steven seagal

"Right about now, evil corporations, police departments, third-world
militias, and other assembled personages that prefer to operate without
public scrutiny are high-fiving themselves into a lather"

Nestor Carbonell will always be Batmanuel to me

wow this is truly horrid

reeks of effort

true, but i don't mean a military play exactly. he seems confident that the old masters' weaknesses can be exploited against them. something is afoot.

i just don't get how little faith people are putting in tyrion's play here. he's gonna have something up is sleeve, and it may just be he and varys are in on it right now. i smell a battle of blackwater-level surprise here.

the bad guys are remarkably well organized with a rigid power structure. seem like a lot to have accomplished in just a few weeks. the societies we meet in TWD are more plausible because we are what… a couple of years into the apocalypse?

this movie is going to be awful

no mention that the bear/simone scene was just a north dakota version of "miller's crossing"? complete with "danny boy"?

was hoping to take my superhero-obsessed son to this, but an hour of exposition is probably too much of a drag for him. i just knew this would suck.
