Big deal. I found half of a sleeping UAW worker under the 3rd row of my Traverse.
This is unbelievably dumb, this is an event that has gone on for multiple years and is well known. You can’t plan for neo nazis plowing a crowd with your vehicle a year+ in advance.
Back in ‘02, I was once shopping for a car for my mom and found two in CA spec’d exactly how she wanted it. My uncle up north got a price of 28,500 OTD and I was all but laughed out of the dealership down here when I tried to get the 32,500 quote down to near that price.
Here’s a scenario. Imagine it’s your first week starting a new job. That job is to shoot and produce video. Now imagine that the editors and writers have given you this great idea for a video shoot and the Fiat is going to be the picture car we use in said imagination video.
Now imagine getting a phone call 1 day…
Auto-Journalist overestimates driving ability in a car with no power; in next article bemoans lack of power in newly announced car.
Orlove, take some proper driver’s training before turning traction control off on a benign, low-powered car, you talentless ass-clown.
One thing that I learned from various track events was that sometimes trying to save it is not the answer. Locking up all four is sometimes the answer. It may look less cool than a nice save, but the outcome is less unpredictable.
This but also don’t downgrade. Use exactly what came with the car.

...except this isn’t a 2014 Raptor, it’s a copy of one.
FCA is having too much fun ripping off people who don’t care enough about quality and just pay attention to horsepower and 96 month loan options.
I’d be shocked if it wasn’t totaled. Modern cars really do a great job at distributing impact force through the entire car. What that translates to is strange rips/bends all throughout the car, even from a single impact point. That car will need probably every body panel replaced, and that’s not even counting the…
But, bro...The Brotella T6 has better shear than the others! You wouldn’t wanna be drivin’ down the road vapin’, only to have your engine seize because you didn’t use what the holy cult of the flat-brim prescribes, would you?
Fun fact: The lubrication engineers at the OEM I worked at sat in a 4 man cubical known as “The Lube Cube”. Their opinion supports yours in that even the cheapest modern oil does a great job as long as it’s changed regularly.
$18,000 engine swap. On an FR-S. Even Toyota gets raped by dealers.
Especially when it comes to the EJ-25, the type of oil is nearly negligible, because it all burns off! Ask my, I would know. An oil change is more like a ‘topping off.’
Learning from past experiences is how we grow as individuals. So, “How?” you may ask, did I end up with yet another…
