Installing a Corvette engine did the trick for me.

Well, the whole car has gone through a lot of changes over the almost 15 years of ownership (some of yall are already familiar with that from previous posts).

Getting rid of the built 4L60E w/ 3800 rpm torque converte and switched it to a 6 speed manual w/ a GTO T-56 was one of them. So the fun part transformed. A

I hit the sand berm/tire barrier at the bottom of the diving turn at Lime Rock, totally transformed the son of a bitch!

ITBs are neat, but that feeling, when you’ve got the jets juuuuuuuuust right? That’s magic.

I would have lost my shit and started chucking my university physics text books the moment that brake question came up. Well not really, those things were expensive. PLANES OF REFERENCE MOTHER FUCKER, DO YOU SPEAK IT!

And just think, after all of this it will make nearly as much power as a new Briggs & Stratton!

We do not build carriers to fight naval battles against China and Russia. We build carriers to project air power anywhere in the world, at any time, whether we have accessible air bases with mission permission or not. That is what carriers have been used for since World War II and will continue to be used for.

“The last time a aircraft carrier has been used in battle was in World War II.”

Your definition of “used in battle” is fairly exclusionary of the last 70+ years of carrier history, and their air-wing’s contributions to the Korean, Vietnam, Cold, and Gulf wars... not to mention GWOT. But don’t let that get in the way of your narrative.

I’m guessing it had something to do with the car sharing app mentioned? I’ll never understand how someone can be cool with strangers driving their car.

This isn’t a zipper maneuver. Zipper is when you’re in a lane that’s disappearing. You should keep your lane until it fully disappears and merge into the other line at that point.

Good. Seriously fuck this guy and everybody like him. They actually slow traffic down because everybody needs to brake to let them in.

Give that man a Snickers or some M&M’s or something, geez.

Just sayin’.

Wow, he just walked up and cheap shot him. Kyle needs to sit for a week or two over that.

As a guy who had been interested in cars for most of his life I always read your articles because they are informative and well written. Keep up the great work.  You are by far at the top of the pack of writers on jalopnik and the internet.

You laugh, but the EF Civic Si and the DC2 Integra Type-R are still dominant in SCCA autocross.
