Not Trump. Anyone. Tyler Rogoway never, to my knowledge, used disrespectful language when writing about global issues here at FA.

Because then the tips never quite line up right as the exhaust moves under the car or as the exhaust hangers wear out. When the fake tips are attached to the bumper instead, they always look like they are in the right spot.

I read them all the time, and I’ve seen plenty of guys like him posts stuff like “get off our car blog!!” But this guy is just asking curious questions and trying to understand why these show up on Jalopinik. There’s a huge difference between how he’s approaching it and how some of the other Jalopinik people have

Well, given that foxtrot is a jalop sub blog one would assume those always get posted. Cross-posts from places like the concourse or io9 or whatever would be determined, perhaps fairly arbitrarily, by the writer of the article and the editor/writers of the blog they wish to cross post in. At least this is my

Foxtrot Alpha is literally a sub-blog of Jalopnik. Everything published here is shared to the main Jalopnike site. I don’t know if it’s automatic or if they just do it as a matter of policy but everything from here, Truck Yeah, Black Flag, etc gets shared.

No problem! Just please, for the love of the comments section (and we all love the comments section) don’t be one of those people who constantly complains about the cross-posting (here or on FB).... just don’t click the article if you don’t want to read it.

Because at this rate, we’ll all be driving Ladas sooner than later?

Sort of yes, but in this case mostly no. Foxtrot Alpha is Jalopnik not a sister blog (if I am not mistaken it sort of evolved from Planeopnik a sub blog dedicated to aircraft).

Also, it creates anger and confusion in the posts. So we all fight, and they get the clicks.

Because Gawker Media owns different “blogs” and in order to generate cross-consumption, they cross-post them to each other in the hopes that one of the “car dudes” will click on the “politics” article.

This is on alpha foxtrot , a military themed Jalopnik sub blog.

Because this is Foxtrot Alpha, not original Jalopnik.

lol wut? He bought the car in 2014 and had no problem and then lost his job in late 2016. It literally says that in the first line.

But I agree, he needs to sell it back, especially if he can breka even on it, and get a loan for $3500 to buy an accord for the family people mover.

This isn’t hard, you sell the car. Go buy a $2500 Camry. Get you financial house in order, and focus on your kid and finding a new job. You don’t need some fancy European car to impress people you don’t even like. Next time you buy a $60k car, pay cash.

I don’t know all of the details, but if you’re unemployed maybe buying ANY car on a loan isn’t the best path forward. I assume you’re looking for work, or maybe picking up freelance or contract work to make ends meet, and likely have a second income as you’re expecting a kid soon. Maybe you could buy a cheap beater on

Yes, but The Tail of the Dragon is a public road. Even still, this is a LeMons event. Ridiculousness is expected.

I don’t know if you are being serious or not, but it sounds like you’ve never been there. It’s not a track, it’s a us highway. And within those 13 miles you are VERY likely to see at least 2 state troopers, just waiting.

Before cheating I’ll go with El_Godinez on El Salvador then.
