It’s amazing how many people miss this sort of stuff and consider a paint job great so long as it’s shiny.

This article is bad news for me. David, you were one of the few forces that made me feel justified in having six cars, most of them projects. The wife, neighbors, relatives, co-workers, and everyone else think I’m crazy.

Turn 1 is a little scary in a high horsepower car. Fastest I’ve managed (and actually glanced at the speedo) was 112 mph. I have to fight the urge to lift off the gas at the crest. The corkscrew itself I love, but I always feel like I’m heading a little too fast downhill into the next turn.

Agreed. The corkscrew is far more dramatic in real life!

Literally staring at this broken off stud on my desk that I had to weld a nut to this week while wrenching on my car. I was thhhiiiiissss close to using an EZ-Out. You just convinced me I dodged a bullet.

Ok...we’re cool haha

Isn’t this joke dead yet?

Me too. I’m around the RS and GT350 development cars a lot of the time but am scared to even pull my phone out for texting.

Breaking free of traffic at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and having the entire track to myself for 20 min. on a sunny afternoon. Brought back strong memories of just about every video game I’ve deemed worth purchasing.

I had my doubts, but this is indeed by far some of the most embarrassing racing I’ve seen.

You’re planning on cruising down Woodward Ave for the Dream Cruise this weekend, right? Should give you plenty of time to tackle that list!

I once bought a car with a blown engine that I planned to replace and sell for profit. After finally tracking down a short block and reassembling things, I battled for hours with the engine hoist, low ceiling, and uneven floors of my (then) rented garage. I finally got the stupid V8 in its home and swore that I was

Because Doug DeMuro says I shouldn’t.

I’m with you on the 1.0L Ecoboost Fiesta Engine. I drove a FiST and Fiesta 1.0L back to back on one of Ford’s handling courses and almost preferred the 1.0L. Almost.

Oh great...I get to look forward to this after work; my US Airways flight is at 5.

I had to convince my fun car to let me buy a wife. That money for the nice paint job paid for the rock. Instead, I painted the car myself and am a much happier man. Also, I knew she was a keeper because she encouraged me to buy that rusty heap of British-fire-hazard wiring in the first place. Now she's trying to

I grew up barefooting on a small lake my father co-owned with an air force pilot. There was always talk about trying it behind a plane, but unfortunately we only had access to an F-16.

I have two car/animal stories to share...one sad, one happy.

My first car was a 2000 Firebird Formula with the WS6 package. It was totaled and I purchased it from an insurance auction. My dad helped me replace the quarter-panels and do paintwork.
