What wasn't really clear until he got on board with Bible Camp was whether he wanted to apologize for his angry outburst or his opinion that she was disrespecting her parents. He could have apologized for screaming in her face and tearing up her Bible and still held firm on the "disrespecting" bit.

I think the way that Philip recovered after last week and his willingness to let Paige go to Bible Camp are part of the same issue. He didn't only decide to walk away from the pastor (Todd was it?) because he regained his senses or was just tired of killing people. He seemed a bit struck that the pastor believed that

I may be wrong, but I thought Elizabeth and Philip were their American names, not the names their parents gave them?

True! I think it's pretty obvious that they are coloring her hair though. ;)

Oh, thanks for the correction! I must have mis-remembered it.

As wonderful as it was to see Joan finally get promoted to a full Accounts position, and to see her wield the last of her head of personnel power to install Dawn in her place, besting both Lou Avery and Bert Cooper in a single move, I think Cutler has an ulterior motive.

I think it's a pretty realistic portrayal of a pre-teen/teenager who wants to hide her true feelings and appear older.

It makes sense that he'd want to know why Beth, his partner whom he consistently protected, killed herself. Art has a personal stake in this and Sarah can help him find those answers.

No, the deliberately obtuse strawman game.

Do not even try to play that game.

Is it? I don't think it is.

I'm not saying you intended it….just asking you to see why it might be an invitation for some to do so. His orientation is irrelevant.

Thanks for bearing with me. I really do appreciate that. We can agree to disagree on whether a member of a disenfranchised group is treated differently than those who are not members.

Here's my issue with it, and bear with me, because I'm upset and may not articulate this as well I would like to.

But then why point out that Fuller is gay?

I am not sure whether the Dateline lead-in makes the difference or whether having the fate of a recurring character in the balance is what drives the ratings. Both times that Dateline was the lead-in, fans wanted to know whether a recurring character lived or died (Bev and then Chilton). Hard to say which is a

While that's an interesting factoid, I hope that we someday move beyond the point that only people within stigmatized groups are expected to present members of those groups responsibly and honestly.

Episode 10.

Here's a link that might help. http://vimeo.com/63747479 In the blurb, the studio that did the CGI gives a brief explanation of how they did it
