I agree. They should sell high on IT right now when they could get a lot in return and before he loses a few steps of that essential quickness. NBA guards are too good to have your best player be a complete non-entity on defense. He’s a great offensive talent, but in a tough postseason matchup like the one against

And if Rondo doesnt get hurt, they lose in the first round.

An equally valid question: Can Gobert hang with the Warriors’ smaller players in the pick and roll? That might go as far in determining how long this series goes as Hayward’s performance.

Not really, but I can see why people are saying it.

The Warriors are better when Steph (and occasionally Dray) is running the show and has the ball in his hands every possession. KD on the court makes them better because of his ability to space, finish from anywhere, and defend anyone...but they’re much better when Steph is running the possession instead of KD.

I starred you anyway because the namesake of yr handle is the source of the name of one of my favorite bands of all time, the Dismemberment Plan

The Warriors *work* better without KD, in that if you want to watch the machine that won 73 games last year operate in its most beautiful gear, KD can muck things up a bit. But KD overall makes things easier, and gives them a better shot to win the title; in particular, the Cavs figured out ways to make Steph less

As takes go, this isn’t the hottest I’ve read, but I definitely could cook an egg on it.
