The article should really say "Annie Jacobsen's  *mostly* non-fiction book of the same name" since it has a lot of really great nuclear/spyplane history and then a crazy story about a Russian saucer (possibly true) piloted by aliens that were actually midgets surgically altered by Dr Mengele (probably false)

I picked up the first issue and enjoyed it, I liked the writing and the interior art. I plan to grab this one in trades.
I picked the "50 Years of Spider-man" alt cover, which doesn't even have the Captain herself on it, because the regular one looks *so awful.* Don't know why they thought it was worthy of printing.

There are often comic counterparts to the TV shows. Also look out for "Tiny Titans", "Franklin Richards: Son of a Genius" and "Power Pack" which should be exactly what you are looking for: comics specifically for young children.

Maybe they can just search the people with body armor, a gas mask and a FUCKING RIFLE. I know people go in costume, but there are reasonable limits.

If you want to be pedantic, there are no episodes of any television series that any person must see. You can live without television.

No Man's Land and Bruce Wayne: Murderer/Fugitive are definitely places to go next.
OH! and Gotham Central
